Okay I have a 89 extended cab and I noticed yesterday that it leans real hard to the driver side rear. I got underneath and checked everything. It all looks okay(rusty but okay). I never noticed this before. I just put jeep wrangler 15 inch wheels with cooper discoverer tires on it and it was sitting level when I did that. I did notice today following behind another ranger the same year it was doing the same thing. What is wrong with my truck. It is my DD and I drive 125 miles a day. :headbang:hopefully its an easy fix. Help me please. it looks rediculous.

The springs are sagging. Replace with new springs. The driver's side sags more than the passenger side because it has the extra weight of the fuel tank and the driver on that side.

With the age of your truck, it's probably just worn leaf springs. My 92 does the same thing, also on the drivers side. If it's really bad, check the springs to make sure none are broken or missing. Also check the leaf spring shackle.

Its the ranger "gansta" lean. Its something to do with the frame. All of them do it and I can say from expericence it is NOT your leaf springs. I had the same prob. and swapped my springs from one side to the other and it still did it. A friend of mine put NEW springs on his 88' and guess what.... it still had the lean. if it really bothers you, you can put some spacers or washers under that side of the bed mount and raise it up to appear that it doesn't lean anymore- thats what i did.
