I replaced 3 plugs and wires. Went to start the truck. Won't even crank. I disconnect the battery and reconnected it. What could it be?

no crank? no click? nothing? i'd say it's probably not related to the plugs... maybe you forgot to plug something back in or hook something back up?

did you check to see if your ignition control module is still plugged in? it is right side of engine by plenum. i forgot to plug mine back in once and no crank. if it helps any, check it.

I checked everything. Everything is pluged in, fuses are good. When I crank I hear a click by the firewall. I pulled the starter, going to get it tested tomarrow.

Whenever that happens on my truck I usually just give it a rap on top of the starter in case the bendix is sticking (not sure if your truck has one of those though)...

Could be a loose ground wire on the starter too...but since you pulled it already...if it tests OK it's probably a bad ground to the starter or at the battery end...they tend to jiggle loose over time...if you're truck was on the road recently...

Check the volts on the battery, ensure its not just that. Sounds silly and know that I mean no disrespect when I say this but did you hook the battery up backwards? Seen it done before...

Also,
Check to make sure your not in gear if its an Auto... trucks dont like to start in gear... I tore my whole ignition system apart on my f100 one day because someone had bumped my shifter into reverse... ><

Mine won't start if the parking brake is engaged...that took me a few minutes to figure out...also had a bad ground on it one day and it would not start...some guy stopped and tried to boost me...it was miserable weather so I bagged off and went back the next day...cleaned the posts and tightened them and it started right up...with a jump, of course...the battery wasn't charging properly with the contacts so weak...

sounds like a battery or a starter.... lets us know on the test.

had the same issue on my 96 it was the remote wire to the starter you would turn the key and it would click and no crank try wiggleing the wire well some body trys to start the truck its the small red wire at the top of the selinoid on the starter

starter tested good. The lower connection on the siliniod was toasted. So I put a new connection. It cranked. Then I went to crank again. Nothing. I jiggled
The wires. Bam It fired up. Thank
