Hey guys I haven't had much time to dig into this problem or have codes pulled, so just thought I would see if anyone has ideas on this problem.
94 3.0L 5spd
Truck seems to start and run good and warm up good.
I drove about 20 miles from work to home and temp. is good.
Shut engine off for just a few minutes, then went to drive it again and engine acted as if it was missing, and especially in 4th and 5th gear. The "Check engine" light came on and went off.
The next day I did the same thing only warmed it up and drove for 5 min, then shut the engine off for a few then drove again and the same problems.
The fuel filter, sprark plugs,wires, and distributor/cap were replaced about 5 months ago or so I don't think thats the problem.
Gas is on 3/4 of tank so ran fine on 1st quarter of the same gas, so don't think it is bad gas.
Im hoping it is just a sensor and I guess the worst would be a cracked head gasket.
