Trying to change fan clutch , but I can't figure out how to hold waterpump pulley. I borrowed removal wrenches from parts store , but wrenches don't match up with what I'm looking at. This is on a 98 ford Ranger.
Can someone help?

You could try putting the belt back on to put some tension on the pulley to help you just break the bolts loose. I think the bolts on the fan are 15mm. Don't quote me on that though. I'm sure someone else here knows for sure. Hope this helps, good luck!

got it , loosened thge bolts on the water pump pulley and put the wrench behind the pulley to hold it and then turned clutch off.

thanks for help
