the front lines are not long enough. some say i can get more length by undoing the clip on the coil bucket.. but how? do i undo the snap ring? or the clip in the back? and the nut just unhooks the two lines right? so i don't wanna mess with it right?

I just spend the hundred bucks and got stainless extended brake lines. No mush in the lines, plenty long enough for lots of flex, and money well spent.

Ya it will work, the stock is just slightly to small but this doubles it so it should be more then enough.

so two piece hose deal, that totals as 24in. replaces the stock line... so what exactly is doubled?

Wells your using the stock hose and then adding another peice from the stock hose to the coil bucket fitting and it should roughly double. Wouldnt you say?

wow.. now i'm completely lost.. so the two piece deal that is explained on the tech library connects to the coil bucket connector. and the stock line connects to the two piecer... than to the caliper?

Ok the line thats short connect in 2 spots. One end is on the caliper and the other end is attached to the coil bucket. The hard line runs from the master cylinder to the coil bucket were its mounted. Then the flexible rubber hose runs from the bucket to the caliper. You adding more flex line so for your truck now, you just wanna remove the line off the coil bucket and add a new peice of line to the bucket and the other end to the stock rubber line.

down at the bottom of that tech library post is 2 reybestos part numbers.....1 hose 26" long. I'm running them on mine, can't go wrong for 20 bucks each.
