I have a 92 ford ranger 4.0 when i put it in reverse and go to back up it jumps and jerks around like its got a miss. if im at a stop and go to take of it does the same and when i hold it at a constant speed... but when its floored its fine. no one can figure out whats wrong, also we cant find the diagnostic obd1 port....its not on drivers side under hood that we can see. can anyone help!!!

The obd port is on the passengerside towards the firewall from the airbox. it can sometimes fall down back there but its there.

Clean the maf sensor and check for vacuum leaks.
