Help! 2.9 v6

I havea 2.9 V6 Ranger. Just rebuilt the motor from the bottom up, but it runs terrible! Its getting fuel and spark, but I just cant figure it out. I think it may be cam timing but I dunno. ANy suggestions???

Check ignition timing.

are you sure the firing order is correct did you put new plug wires. What was the reason you rebuilt it. fuel pressure, vacuum pressure, compression is it throwing any codes. more input!

Well we rebuilt the motor cause the previous owner blew it up haha. But we fixed it after pulling the front cover and discovering that the cam timing was a tooth off!
