hi I recently just got a 91 ford ranger single cab auto 4x4... its ruff but its something that runs and drives...

it didnt have a front bumper on it so I picked one up from a salvage yard and for some reason the mounting brackets arent lining up... just wondering if theres a difference between 91 and i believe the truck the bumper came off of was from a 89... any advice would be appreciated.

The good news is that Ranger parts are plentiful. You'll have little problem getting her back into tip top shape!

Welcome to TRS! Feel free to grab a cold drink from the fridge, pull up a chair, and be careful. There's plenty of low-flying BS around here! The good news is that there's also plenty of help to be had around here!

Welcome to The Ranger Station!

Yes, the 89 bumper will fit just fine as 89-92 are all generation 2 rangers.

The bumper brackets that came from the 89 are completely different so I got some brackets from a 93 explore and those line up but don't work with the bumper so I took the bumper back and now back out on the hunt for a bumper... Akward thing I noticed was the explore has a solid tube frame unlike my ranger so the brackets will work but the mounting hardware is way tooooo long
