New to site, nice to meet you all. I have an '87 Ford Ranger with factory lift. Is it 2.5" or no?

Howdy...

Wecome to TRS...

The 87 was a 2.3...never heard of a factory lift on an 87 though...do you happen to have any pics of your truck?

There was a factory lift available on the STX Highrider trucks. I see you've got an STX, so it probably is one if you're sure it's a factory lift. They are pretty rare so don't ever sell it!

Yes, thx, it is original block in the back. The front is what is a mystery. i fit 31/10.50s stock.

the block yo refer to, does it have a horn sticking towards the center of the truck, if so all 4x4 rangers have that same block at least as new as '97 . . . i fit 31-10.5's on my factory wheels on my 83 with no rubbing and it wasn't a stx

The STX Highrider was just a slightly lifted front end as I recall. The rear wasn't any different from other 4x4 Rangers.

okay

Thanks. The radius arms also have a spacer where they mount to the frame. Just curious as to the lift as i just installed new Ranchos and they seemed a bit long.
