We own a 1989 Ford Ranger with mystery miles, as there’s only 5 digits. She’s just gotten her second Maaco paint job and looks great! Happy to be here.

PICS!? and welcome to TRS.

Damn thats a good lookin truck Leapfrog!

Cleaner than most new trucks. Has it been kept vacuum sealed for 30 years?

We bought her at 9 years old, covered in bondo 😄 She had a Maaco paint job then, which lasted 25 years! She just got a new one last week 😊 Best little truck ever. She’s been mostly garage kept.

I must have classic Rock on the brain. Songs keep popping into my head with this thread.

Anyhow, nice Ranger, and welcome to the forums. I've heard Maaco can do a pretty good paint job if you put some effort into preping it. I don't even know if we've still got one around here.

Glad to be here! Some people just don’t understand why we’d paint such an old truck, but I know y’all do 😊
