Thanks for adding me! Finally convinced my dad to let me get my brothers truck back on the road. Its an 87 ranger 4x4 with the 2.9. First 4x4 I've gotten my hands on, so I'm sure I'll have lots of questions! Definitely excited to get to work on this... hoping to make it something my brother would love... gonna snoop around a bit and do some reading, but from what I've read already, seems to be a lot of knowledgeable people here! Definitely have some ideas for the truck, just gotta see what I can make work!

He passed away about 8 years ago... he struggled with alcohol and ultimately thats what did him in. He was always into cars.. I know it wasn't his intention to make this just a daily driver... he loved to go fast and do stupid things... so I'm gonna hopefully honer his memory and turn the truck into something he would love himself!

Condolences and prayers for your family & brother.

I’ve got the same exact truck for free with a blown engine for my birthday last year. I don’t think the guy liked me. I’m just mechanically repairing it to be a driver, but having some fun on the outside. Check my posts, you’ll get a laugh.
