Hey, I swear I had an account here years ago but either I'm wrong, or it's all been purged at some point. I drove a '92 Ranger in high school, but that was near 2 decades ago now.

So now I'm here, and I have a Ranger again! I bought a 2009 XL 4x4 with 4.0 and 5spd manual this summer. So far just used for basic utility, hauling brush and trash which was the main point of buying it, but now that I own a 4x4 I figure I might as well do 4x4 stuff so I'm looking into kitting it out a bit for backwoods camping trips.

I've started buying some parts, but mostly gonna wait for spring and nicer weather to start working on it.

if its the vacuum pulse hubs, I'd start there....Then get a decent lift kit and some tires, maybe re gear it...throw on some lights for night wheeling. A cb radio is a fun security blanket.
