Hello everyone, I joined your forum on Monday, March 25. But, I'm not exactly, or I should say, you all aren't exactly strangers to me, I've been lurking around in the shadows for quite a while. That sound of something going bump in the night that you just can't quite figure out, well now you know, it's me.

Seriously, I have been lurking around your forum for about two years. I haven't paid a lot of attention to the names, but some of you guys seem to be pretty well informed on these little trucks.

We presently have two RBV's. I have a 1991 4.0 auto 4x4, almost completely stock except for the Warn locking hubs. I bought it on "Black Friday" 2012, yes , the day after Thanksgiving. The truck showed 63,xxx on the odometer, but it's only a 5 digit odo. My wife drives a 1998 Mazda B-4000 4x4 auto. We bougth it new in May 1998, it had 57 miles on it, it now 343,xxx that's right three hundred and forty three thousand plus miles. We put in a new Ford factory rebuilt engine at 335,xxx miles. it has been a great truck, completely stock 100%, it's had all the usual things done, ball joints shocks every sensor you can possibly imagine, two transmission rebuilds, first one a p.o.s., second a fantastic job done in a local shop in Newport, TN. M
ost recently all three O2 sensors. I drove it today, it runs great. She wouldn't trade it for a new one, she loves that truck!!!

Yesterday,3-28-13, I developed a problem in my Ranger, I'll cover that in another thread in the 4.0 forum. I'll give you this much of a clue "knocking rods, coolant loss, overfilled oil pan".

Get your minds warmed up, I'll be posting it tomorrow night, most likely, it's getting late, almost 10:00 p.m. here in Tennessee.

BTW we live on Cosby, TN, yes I meant on, not in, it's a local thing.

Good night all, I've enjoyed lurking a lot, guess now I've "come out of the closet" so to speak. :):):) I still plan to do a lot of lurking so if you hear a bump in the dark, it's just me.
