I recently got my dads 1987 Ranger, 2wd 302, c4. Its lifted and has 31s. I found the site trying to correct bump steer. I still have the original pitman on it and may try a stock 4x4 pitman to see if it corrects my problem. It has the 3" rough country suspension lift and a 3" body lift.

My dad bought it with 50,000 miles on it and in 20 yrs he only put 26,000 on it. About 7yrs ago he swapped the 2.0 for the 302. I love this truck and have may memories in it. I learned to drive in it as did my brother.

When he first got it he also built a hydraulic dump for the bed and it has hauled many yards of gravel.

Thanks for the great site, lots of good info here.

That's just awesome!! It looks to be in good shape.

I am not sure the brand but they have oval holes. I guess its so it fit other applications. I wish Walmart still sold the super sport tires. They are noisy but I like em. It will be time for a new set soon, these are probably about 8yrs old.
