I've been lurking in the shadows for a couple weeks now. Trying to soak up as much information as possible before I posted. I've become the latest owner of a 87' Ranger (2wd/std cab/longbed). Only paid $400 for it. I love this truck but I've been wanting to play in the dirt with it. So I've decided to do a 4.0L/4wd conversion from a junked 93' Explorer that I'm getting from the neighbor next door for cheap. I'm still trying to get all the parts/tools together for the swap. I'll probably be asking a ton of questions over the next few months if I don't find my answers searching first. Can't wait to get this frankenstein done and playing with it.
