Hello,
I've just acquired, thanks to my wonderful wife (she'll get over it), this 1994 Mazda B3000.
I'll be honest, I've never really wanted a truck. I'm more of a sports car guy myself. Now that I own a home, however, there have been far too many times that I wished I had a truck, and I just got tired of paying delivery charges or truck rental fees. So here I am.
I've named it Jake 2.0. My father had a 1987 B2200 that he bought new and finally traded in last year. He named his truck "Jake", so it seemed appropriate.
Jake 2.0 has 158k miles on it, and considering its 17 years old, is in pretty good shape. Extended cab, nice bed liner. It has some minor paint issues, it probably needs new shocks, the AC needs a recharge, but everything else works.
I think the thermostat is stuck open since the temp gauge never goes very far above C, so that will be the first project to tackle.
So glad to be here, this looks like a fantastic forum, I'll be spending a lot of time here.
