Hello all,

My name is Chris and i am a new to me owner of a 1984 Ford Ranger 2.3l 2wd. Truck runs good alot works for a 31 year old truck. Minimal rust, and no accidents. I am from New Mexico, and also i am into Mopar. Married one year (together five) and Three children w/ one on the way. Looked at TRS for advice and help just like the other forums im active on.

Plans are to do tune up, oil change, and spray bed liner in the back of the bed. then move into the interior get that all cleaned up and to my personal liking. Then see about suspension(even though it rides good it does need an alignment). I took it on the highway after work yesterday and as its a 4spd man trans, i had to down shift to go up one hill, after that i noticed a smell of oil...Got home, and truck was throwing oil out of the tube on top of the Valve cover that sits by the oil filler cap.? The is just a peice of hose attached to nothing, and i think it was blowing oil OUT and all over.What is this tube/hose supposed to be hooked into?
