hello from NC!! different approach to the Ranger!

hello everyone! i have a 98 4wd supercab ranger, with the 3.0L auto. im planning on doing a little engine work (200hp possible?) and some suspension work. Nothing crazy, just upgrading what i can...does my truck have that darn PATS system?? i can't seem to find definate info about this...of course, im old, and bad w/search engines. after the engine and suspension work is done, im plopping on a 56 F100 body on the frame rails!! well, thats the plan anyway. any help would be awesome!! cheers!

Welcome for sure! No PAT's in the '98', can tell by the size of the key or the blinking light on the dash. Sounds like you have some plans already cooking. Sure like to see that build. Old is just a relative term by the way. Jump on in and enjoy!
