Just purchased a black 2000 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4 flareside 3.0L 5 speed. Was doing some research on the internet about add-ons and such and stumbled across your site. Figured what better place to get info on my truck when questions arise than fellow owners.

A little about me. Just got out of the Navy after 10 years. I was a Crypto Tech Maintenance (Computer Guy). I have been married for 8 years and have 2kids. Needed the truck due to home improvement and to satisfy the male craving for a truck and off-roading. Home improvement reasoning satisfies the wife though. So see you all around the forums.

Yeah, I am planning on taking some pics. It is pretty stock. There is 2 rust spots that the dealer is going to fix as soon as I take it in.

Yeah, mine gave me maximum grief for the minimum bucks I spent on my ragged 92, untill the day she needed to pick up some family heirloom furniture, then it was suddenly a good thing to have.

...And we're supposed to vote for a woman for president? I don't think so.
