Some of you know me as having a jeep. Well i finally got smart and traded the jeep for my long awaited sport trac. It's a 2002, needs a little work but with the help of SVT it will be running in no time. This will be my dd and a special thanks to SVT for finding it and making the deal for me. I will be starting a build thread shortly and pics to follow.

lots! it needs a new transmission and exhaust the rest is just cosmetic stuff... the guy that had it before me used it as an off road vehicle i believe...I think svt is thinking about just putting a v8 in it when he does the transmission but im not sure yet...the pictures are uploaded onto the computer but i havent got them onto photobucket yet.

if those are 15" rims.....they are exactly like mine ( other than i painted mine a dark gray ).....

looks good....not to mention i am sorta jealous ( have always wanted a Sport Trac ).....

Yep, they are 15x10's with a set of BFG AT 31x10.50's on em...

its sittin in the corner of the field in the "SVT Ressurection Yard".....

in fact Rick mounted his "new to him" Iroks on the rims ( which happen to be identicle to mine....go figure ) from the Sport Trac....

not sure when it will be back on the road....I think they have bigger fish to fry at the moment....

Josh, I plan to drop another trans and tcase in, but as of tonight it will be a while...I tore my thumb to pieces this evening working on Jay's sliders, so I'll be down for a couple weeks...It is riding on some explorer wheels with almost new rubber, and the old trans and tcase will become parts for my doubler build I'll try to post up pics tomorrow

besides the tires that is all that has been done to the sport trac....tommarow the claim adjuster should be by to look at the jetta and depending on what they say there depends on if it gets running quicker or not....im living paycheck to paycheck and with the jetta going down im pretty much broke

I checked out the Doubler build, its looking pretty damn good. That whole doubler/engineering shit doesnt compute in my head. I just said piss on it, I'm going with an atlas. I gotta sell my kidney first though

She had a 97 jeep cherokee she swapped straight up for, but the jeep was on its last leg and had some good trail damage underneath, but overall she come out ahead as it'll be cheaper to fix the sport trac than the jeep and its what she wanted...
