I am new to the site but I have had a Ranger or 2 since I started driving in
88' I am getting ready to put my first one back together.

As soon as I get the new to me chassis I can put my baby back together. I want to do a really light 4x4 with a turbo 2.3 and later stroked out to 2.5. I have plans for cut and turned beams I think. The whole point will be a little truck that will make a Jeep feel unhappy it was not a born a Ford and spank the pants off of any S10 based bowtie.

Did I mention I'm a Big Ford fan.

welcome to the site

Welcome yo. You should hit up Badlands, its closer to you. I think there is a trip brewing for the spring. And post some pics of your progress.

The Bronco is at the Badlands in the after paint picks thats where I popped it's 8 lug cherries at. I ran it stock at Redbird and the won-ton truck has been to Interlake and Haspin I broke a front axleshaft at carbody trying to come up from the creekbed. I'll try to line up for the spring run as long as my work weekends don't conflict. But it may be in one of the fullsizes I am trying to get my full plan on the ranger worked out I would like to do a cut and turned TTB with coilovers.

So do you have something to wheel at the moment?

Both the fullsizes the Ranger is a new/old project I broke the frame about 16yrs. ago with some teenage driving habits and have had it in storage in pieces for the rest of the time I just came across a 4x4 shortbed chassis and am planning on reviving it with a few upgrades.

I would do this but I am at work Sat - Tues this week I work 4 on 4 off so I get stuck with weekends for 3 weeks in a row. Haspin has one next weekend I think.

Hey Huggy, glad to see another Indy guy.

hello. 2.3 turbo .cool.
pulls like a v8, 30plus mpg.

played with 2.3 turbo . and owned for 10 yrs./ love to save you all the f--ck ups

This is all about experiance.

Thanks turboranger I have the Garrett setup my truck being an S it had a 2.0l with the Aisian carb so I will need to do a whole ECM harness for it I just did the MAF conversion on my 89' Bronco so I don't think that will be the problem. I love the little 2.3l the one I had was before Mass air was popular so I had to run carbs. I still have the offy 4bbl setup for one.

chazzone where in Indy are you at? I am over on the eastside near I-70 and Emerson ave.
