Hey, I just signed on after finding this awesome site. This has to be the best car/truck site I have ever been a member of. Kudos to the guys or gals that created this site.
Well, a little about me. I live in Gray, GA. I'm married with two great kids(16 and 19). I am a new Ford owner after being a MOPAR guy for many years. I had a 1974 Hemi Orange Plymouth Duster 360 that I recently sold. Boy am really hating myself about it.
Back in February I bought a 1978 Mustang II with a nicely built 89' 302 roller motor. I'm currently working on restoring it. But, not to original. What's point of that?
Now, I have a Bronco II. She is a 1989 XLT 4x4 and is in over all good condition. The previous owners took real good care of it. But, it's not free of problems. The clutch started slipping which is why the they got rid of it. My dad new the people and they sold it to him for $150. They did not want to fool with having it repaired. Well, dad got it and it just sat there for longer than it needed to. I tried for several years to get it from him. He finally gave in.
Now, the bad gas has taken its toll on the fuel pump so that will have to be replaced which I'm the process of doing now. The Bronco did run and ran great right after my dad got it. So, now I'm working getting it back up and running first and then I'll tackle the clutch.
