hello all,my name is Troy and i am from the north florida area.i have been into rangers for a long time.i have had a 2001 xlt std cab swb that i converted to a stepside,a 88 4x4,85 bii 4x4,and serveral 91-93 explorers all 4x4's.i just got my newest one a 1987 std cab swb 2wd with a v6 and auto. the tranny has no reverse but cannot complain...i got it and drove it 37 miles home and paid $280 for it.i have a 2.3t and 5 spd. out of a 84 svo that i plan on installing.anyways here is some pics of it...will post some better ones of it once i clean it up..lol

really straight body.can't wait for the swap to begin........

That's what mine looked like before I swapped in the 2.3 four banger...not quite as much power, but certainly more room to swing the catalytic converter...

yeah i plan on doing a 84 svo 2.3 turbo motor and 5 spd swap here really soon.my 2.3 is built up and making in the 300rwhp area...should be lots of fun.

sounds good.i am into hotrods and 4x4's.my buddys been talking me into building another minitruck hotrod. he has a mazda b2200 that i built years ago witha a 302 and t5(he put the t5 in).
i hope to have the engine in before spring...thats the goal.the 2.9 runs damn good though,kinda hate pulling it but got to do it...lol
