Hello from El Paso, TX

Just bought a 1987 Ranger XLT with the 2.9L V6. Had to immediately replace the front brake pads and brake master cylinder. Besides that, everything sounds and looks good. Original Engine and transmission. All original interior except for radio. It has a nice new one. I think original speakers too. Really clean overall. Just gonna take care of it and see how much I can get out of my $1000. Next job is total tune-up. Then some tires. Then replace some a/c hoses. Then I might tackle the interior. Hopefully get that done within the year. Hope to chat with others on here along my Ranger journey. HeeHaw!!! you got a good deal there pardner. these Rangers are tuff lil trucks. Ive had 3 and presently have an '88 Bronco II Im restoring little by little. Theres some good 4-wheelin out near LosCruces,N,M, by the way. nice ORV park. keep this nice truck on the road,, youll luv it,,,Larry in Arlington,Texas,,sweattin like a u know what.

Thanks for the welcomes. I feel like I got a good deal. Think my clutch is starting to go a lil. It has a little whining noise when in neutral and when I press the clutch in it nice and quiet. Get that done here in a week or two, no money after buying the sucker.
