Hello Ranger Fans. I moved to brasil last year. To my surprise I found that every manufacturer of mid size trucks and SUV offer these vehicles with Flex fuel gas engines or Turbo Diesel. I looked at the Mitsubishi Triton, the Toyota Hilux, The Nissan Frontier, The Mahindra and the Ford Ranger. Of all the trucks the Ranger is a better built truck and the 3.0 Liter intercooled 4 cylinder power stroke diesel is the best of all the diesel engines. I am looking to possibly export power stroke 4 cylinder power trains to usa for ranger fans to complete engine swaps.

I ended up buying a new 2012 Ford Ranger Crew Cab 3/4 ton 4X4 with the powerstoke 4 cylinder diesel. I am averaging 30 miles per gallon with a moderate load, ac running at 70-75mph.

I would love to swap one of those diesels into my 97 Ranger......also like to get a complete good shape 4 door cab.
