Hello. First truck.

Hey everyone... I just bought my first truck. It's a 1992 Ford Ranger, regular cab, 4cyl, automatic. I only paid 300$ for it. Runs great!

Needs:
windshield
tires
exhaust(rusted out)

already bought:
new carpet
stereo
4 speakers
fuel neck
wax and buff
lots of cleaning!

got to fix:
leak on carpet- gonna try some things I found on here.
fuel gauge
temp gauge
CEL light comes on after a few mintues driving, then goes off, and back on, etc (hopefully the Catalytic converter will fix that.

It'a an extra vehicle for getting yard work done and hauling trash. I have an 08 odyssey, 09 civic hybrid, and an 89 RX-7 as well.

Your next swap should be a 5-speed stick to back that 4-banger. The 4-cyl autos are real dogs. The good news if that you take care of them they'll run damn near forever. A few of the guys here have 200,000 + miles on theirs. I've got a 154,000 on mine and she still pulls like a freight train!
