Just picked up this ranger not long ago, I like it pretty well. I have quite a bit of work to do to get it where I want it as far as being a reliable daily driver, and still retain serious wheeling capability at the same time.

I'm 26 I live in NC, been working on everything from lawnmowers to record setting Harley's and Jet Ski's for most my life. Im also into cars and bikes, I have a Turbo Eclipse and a VFR750 because I love to ride two wheels too. Even though I end up on one wheel a lot for some odd reason...

Back to the truck, its an 88 XLT supercab. Its got some type of mild cam in it, no clue what it could be. Summit 4-barrel intake topped with an Edelbrock 600cfm, model 1405. Has an MSN distributor w/ Vac advance. Big 1200cfm electric cooling fan, and Advance Adapters headers. then you have the AOD trans, haven't confirmed which t-case I have yet. Inside its got a full set of aftermarket gauges Temp, Oil Pressure, Volt, dash mounted 3" Tach. B&M Pro Ratchet shifter. True duals all the way back to dual 3 in. chrome tips. Has 3" body lift, plus spacers front and back for a total of about 5". Already have the 8.8 rear, and now I'm gonna get a ttb d35 in the next couple weeks and get that in. Truck is currently on 31's, but I may goto 3's or 5's after I get springs and shackles for more lift.

Technically a 302 since its carb'd, but yeah.

Sounds really well done. It definitely looks good!

When you say you used spacers for the extra 2 inches of lift, do you mean blocks in the back on the leafs and spacers on the coils in the front?

Nice truck...but...is it just me or does your front tire sit back further than it should???

I have the same style truck...but mine...incredibly as this may seem...has ¼ the power as yours...maybe less...if that's possible...
