Hey guys,
Not really new, been around for a while, but haven't been around the forums for quite a bit, so I figured I'd re-introduce myself.
So, my truck has been neglected for a while. Had big plans for it, but the big "D" put an end to those plans. Anyway, the current 92 turd burglar was recently totaled by the ins co. I had plans on getting something newer, but as things would have it, it's not going to work out.
Plan B - Bring my other truck back to life!! Just needs a motor, exhaust and tires. I had replaced the tranny not too long ago before the motor went. I've always loved the look of this truck and have been refusing to let it go. It's been sitting at my parents house waiting for me to do something with it. So, I've located a 4.0 with 80k on it and I'm gonna throw that thing in there. My 92 is getting picked up tues and I'll have a rental for a week or so. Just sucks that the garage is packed and it's cold and snowing out. So, we're gonna try to make some sort of tent to work in and run the heater in there.
Next question...did a little bit of looking around, but have yet to find a specific area for this. I'm looking for any power enhancers before I throw the motor in. Specifically headers. Any particular ones better than others? Anything else would be a great help. Thanks guys!!
