Hello all my name is jim i live in northern California and drive a 89 ranger on its way to a total body overhaul. I am continuity surprised at the capability of this little truck. i have out wheeled solid axled toys with it no prob with just a 2" body lift and 33" muds. Unfortunately the only place to lay is a creek around town or i would finish my sas for it. By far the best truck i have ever owned.

Glad you're impressed with your Ranger...mine continues to impress me too...I will be more impressed when I'm fihished and I can actually drive it...lol

Are you doing a frame-off restore or just repair/replace damage/rust?

welcome! i know what you mean when you say about bodywork, my beds wheel wells are rusted out, but i dont care, its my mud toy...it actually lets my truck flex more lol anyhow Welcome to the site, hope to see pics of your ranger
