Heavy stream of transmission fluid after starting up truck

My 1991 Ford Ranger starting leaking a steady stream of transmission fluid when it is first started up and not put into any gear. The leak started suddenly with no slow leak noticed beforehand. After putting the truck into gear the leak seems to stop until the truck sits again.
The engine oil is not leaking.
 
Well… get under it and see where it's coming from.
 
Probably a rust out line or the tube popped out of the top
 
Sorry I forgot to say that it is coming out from between the front of the transmission and the back of the engine. Duh
 
That is not a good spot for a leak... front seal is the most likely cause. Gonna have to pull the transmission for anything leaking in that area.
 
Yes, it's the front seal on the trans most likely. Replaced mine last year.

Not too bad of a job, but definitely takes time.
