Heavy duty rear springs

I was hoping the local shop would at least have been close in price but it was gonna be at least $100 more going through them and 2-3 weeks out, if the springs were even the same rating as the ones I ended up ordering. I was quoted $157 for a 3 leaf pack or $196.50 for a 4 leaf pack. Might end up regretting how I did it or might end up going to the to see if they can add some arch if needed. I think ill need coil springs for my front end so ill give them a shout for those before ordering online.

I understand that... you have to save money where you can.

You'll likely do better for coil springs on the net.

I paid a little more for my 1750lb rear springs from the local spring shop. Simply because I trusted them more then waiting to see what got delivered from the internet.

It also worked in my favor for u-bolts and hardware. They had the parts there and the cost was minimal.

They made a few easy dollars from me but the owner showed me around the shop and told me if I needed anything to come see him. I just think supporting local places when it makes sense is important and builds your network.

The best the local shop to me offered was 1,250# springs that I already had. Thus why I went online to get a set.

Kinda my understanding of what was offered to me. When offered a 3 leaf or 4 leaf setup through my local but online is a 5 leaf setup for less money I'll go with that. I was hoping they could make me something that has a decent weight rating and maybe a little lift but at those cost I didn't bother asking.

Surprisingly every bolt on the leafs has come loose and isn't stuck in the bushings, even the u bolts came loose. I still plan to buy new u bolts but can atleast mockup whatever setup I like best and measure it to order. I'm guessing since the truck was used on company grounds for however long it didnt see road salt to mess much up

I got the springs in temporary till I get the new bolts and u bolts. Definitely raised it up a good bit which I’m glad for
