my question is my heater heats up real nice and quick but it hardly blows any air out. i thought it was the cabin filter but after searching found out their is not one lol. so im at a loss and any help would be great

thanks in advance... nate

Need more information there, Chief.

Where is the air directed? (Is it coming out of the windshield vent?)

Heat comes out of floor vent but no airflow? (Does blower motor run at all, or runs only on Hi fan speed?)

Does the fan only work in high? If so the blower motor resistor is bad.

Year?

its a 96 supercab 2.3. and yes all the vents work. it changes from defrost to just feet to mixed to just vents and all the settings work they just go from totally crappy air flow to a little less crappy to kinda crappy to crappy lol if you get my drift. like the air flow does change from low setting to high setting but it still hardly comes out:icon_confused:

and the air that does come out is pretty hot just no air flow?

thinking maby there is a blockage somewhere? i was reading that some people actually have leaves come though there vents lol. if it is a blockage where would i check?

When I worked in an auto service department and we had this complaint it was common to find piles of acorns or mouse or rat's nests. In the worst case we found three dead mice and a nest. This did restrict the airflow somewhat, and also imparted a distinct fragrance to the hot air.
