04 xlt, Ok my heater only stays on defrost it seems the switch works because i can turn it to off and it goes off but when i try to switch it to my feet or face vents it stays up on defrost. Can this just be like the switching motor went out or a fuse issue? I have never messed with it before so i don't know what i am gettin into

Check for obstructions in the vents. Wouldn't ya hate for it to be something so simple?

There was a jacket shoved up under the dash in the passenger side of my friends 323 that kept the air from blowing at our feet. It was waaaay up in there

if the controls are like my 97, then the vent selector controls are actually vaccum controled so you wont be looking for a fuse or anything. start by checking the vaccum line plugs at the controls and try to work your way back.
