Heater hose question

OK, I have this heater hose that goes from this valve by the AC condenser to somewhere behind the engine. It has a slow leak where it connects to the valve. I don't see any cracks in the fitting when I remove the hose so I tried putting a wormgear clamp on the hose instead of the spring one that is on there. It still leaks around the hose. Any ideas? I was going to replace the hose but when I went to Napa they didn't know what hose it was. I guess I have to go to the dealer. There must have been some kind of problem here before I bought the truck because on the hood insulation above the area that this is happening there was sign of having gotten wet. (expanded and a little puffy)

Ok here is how this problem has played out. I replaced the hose (pain in the butt because of the location of the lower clamp). The leak persisted. It turned out to be the bypass valve which I have now replaced. The leak is gone.
