Well I finally got the wiring done, I will have fuel lines in soon:yahoo:! I got some damn expensive heater hoses,(fexable metal) because I had some tight turns to make. Started thinking about vacuum lines and realized that little white vacuum line from the heater box ran to a control valve I hadn't put in:icon_twisted:. I have two choices redo my heater hoses and put it in, :annoyed:, leave it as it is but i am worried it will that put to much heat in the cab. Any ideas or suggestions?

Nothing in my coolant lines.

Made some tight "S" bends to go from the stock Mustang 5.0 metal coolant lines to the ranger firewall.

I had the same issue, my engine is really far back in the bay and I couldn't even get regular lines to work, they kinked. Are you running AC? Thanks for thed info!. At this point I am second guessing myself and It's driving me nuts! ARRUG

I deleted the AC. It's only coolant running through there, you'll be fine!

Buy a good manual on/off hot-water-valve from the plumbing section at the hardware store....adapt it to the engine outlet....then connect the expensive hose to the outlet side of the valve....turn it on when heat is needed......

Bingo thats what I did because my lines were tight with the control valve on it....check out my pic...cost me like $5

Strange that you guys need to mess with this. Mine works perfect, with nothing between the engine coolant lines and the firewall.

you don't have AC that's why!!!!
A/c wasnt the reason at all...Notice the drier is missing on mine...and I plan on adding the A/c back this week actually. I just ended up with some space issues and the lines were kinking...I tried several different things but this setup worked for me. Dunno why but every build is different!

Thanks again for the info. It really is interesting the number of builds and number of solutions for each issue that comes up. It is nice to have folks who can help you puzzle it out!
