heat on all the time

First I had no heat and all of a sudden its on all the time. Any thoughts?

Sounds like an issue with the blend door. I think there is a thing about it in the tech library.

Fixed

I found the jfrank post for blend door fix. I found the exact same condition in my Ranger and I fixed it. It was just as the post said, and I drilled my hole inserted a pin and now it works. Thank you Mr Frank.

I did the fix like the post said, it works except the door for heat doesn"t close all the way, about 75%, which is much better than it was, I still get a little warm air on vent or normal ac, on normal it gets cool but not real cold. max ac works ok because it bypasses the temp control. did I do the fix wrong?

update, I added a small piece of plastic on one side of the pin, now works ok. saves ALOT of work.
