Heat Not Working

So my heat is not working. All the vents work and so do the fan speeds. But It wont get hot, I was wondering what everyone thought.

Alot of people seem to be saying blend door on similar issues, but I dont want to cut a hole under my dash to check this if there are other solutions.

Has anyone had the nob not work for the temperature adjustment? And for a 97 ranger, are those switches operating with vacuums or electrically to vacuums?

check to see if the 2 hoses going to your heater core are hot if only one is hot and the other is cold or only warm your heatercore is plugged.
