. What pistons could I buy that would be a bit stronger and offer higher compression with my GT-40P Heads?
Measure the pin height (also refered to as compression height) of the pistons you have now. Pistons with a taller height than those will yeild a higher ratio. Or pistons that have domed tops (pop-up pistons) It's unlikely that you can achieve a higher ratio than you have now with those heads and flat-topped pistons. You can mill the heads up to .040 without having intake fitment problems, this amount will net you about a half point increase in the comp ratio.
