Take your stock ones apart, paint the inside like those aftermarket ones are, and then put em back together. you'll have to sand down the chrome to get the paint to stick, but the housing will be good.

i have seen some other guys with black crystal clear headlights and corners....i like em! I plan on getting some myself....and my truck is a white 96. I say either black crystal clears....or smoke your corners and taillights for a black/white look

i stole your pic and had it modified a little....cause this is pretty much my finished goal of my truck....i bought some black/chrome headlights and side markers and this is what some photoshop friends came up with
