Does anyone have any experience with these? There are several major brands, Xpel, Lamin-x, Clear Mask.

I have read a few posts around where people have had some issues with their headlights developing hair line cracking. It was attributed to the film causing heat build up.

Anyone ever install this, how challenging was the instal?

Thanks

George

I used the 3M brand clear vinyl on Fog lights. It worked OK. The lenses were flat and round so the installation was simple. Be sure to start the glue backing from the center out to avoid air pockets. Don't think I would use it on headlights though. Why not get the clear protective headlight covers instead?
