hey, in my 89 BII, i changed out the headlight bulbs for some ebay ones that are crystal white and they were awesome for the first couple times i used them and now when i turn on the headlights, the passenger side bulb is very dim, you cant even tell its on unless you get out and look at it, and that same side signal light dont work, and the signal indicator is on in the dash when the headlights are turned on.
thanks for any help i can get

Sounds like a bad ground to me. IIRC correctly, it grounds on the radiator support.

shit! as soon as you said that it occoured to me. i know the problem now

there was a ground wire going from the batt terminal to the rad support, and another that i didnt know where it lead to, so i went to unbolt them to make it longer because i needed to re-route the negative battery terminal, but the bolt twisted off so the wires are just hanging there, and i tried starting the b2 like that and she worked fine so i left the wires alone.
so my guess is that unknown wire was a ground for the headlight?

thanks shane!

I hate grounding problems. I have spent hours and hours on electrical problems only to find it was all due to a coroded connection on a ground. Now I start there and work backwards from the grounds. Took me most of my adult life to figure that one out. Best advise I can give anyone now is check how well your grounded first. Yea, facepalm and facepalm again.....
