Quick question for the crafty minds of TRS....installed a set of jba headers on my 91 3.0 and have run into a slight issue with fitment. Everything has mounted up beautifully and lined up perfect, aside from my 0² sensor. the transmission cooler lines are blocking my sensor bung making straight threading in of my 0² sensor impossible. I decided upon 2 different solutions and was wondering what yall thought...
1)find a sensor shorter by about 1/2" and thread that puppy in
2) lengthen my sensor wires by about a foot and run said wires from blocked off bung on driver side, over bell housing, and plug'r in.

My only real concern with solution #2 is increased resistance affecting sensor readings. Should that even be a concern? Has anyone run into this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I don't know that you're going to find a shorter sensor. Bosch used to make extended wire length sensors, I don't see them at Rock Auto but I'd try extending the wire length myself. If you're going to do that I would be sure to match up the wire gauges and nicely solder the wires together.

Solution: bent the trans cooler line and thread that puppy in! Runs like a champ :) its nice with no exhaust leaks!
