I got a 94 4.0 V-6 with headers. Does anyone know where I can get the good gaskets like the felpro high performance ones with the perforated metal in the middle?

Getting tired of replacing gaskets and these seem to be a lot stronger
Thanks Rich

Have you tried Felpro?

They call them exhaust manifold gaskets.

they include them with every head gasket set.

he said headers. you should be able to take them to any competent parts person and they can find you one that will work.. of the style you need.

aren't copper gaskets the most durable? or is that just copper head gaskets that are available?

ok i'm confused now... do you want HEAD to HEADER gaskets? or header COLLECTOR gaskets?

Guy's I appreciate the reply's. I am looking for header gaskets that go between headers and head. I am not looking for ordinary paper type gaskets. I am looking for the felpro high performance type, they have perforated metal sandwiched in the middle. I realize I can use stock manifold gaskets. I am not looking for the average type of gasket. If you have never used a gasket like this I assure you they are the bomb.
It seems to me if you are on a long trip and discover you are getting an exhaust leak regular gaskets just blow on headers and you can not just tighten them up when you hear the leak. This has been my experience so far. By the way I am not mechanic stupid, I torque in stages working my way up to the torque specs in sequence. I am just looking for a specific type of, IMHO, superior type of gaskets.
Thanks Rich

Use the regular manifold gaskets. No need to get specialized header gaskets.

I have blown 2 sets of those already,I am through with those

What your looking for is multi-layer steel or copper gaskets. To my knowledge nobody makes them for the OHV. Fel-pro works for me with my headers.
