Hello, I just bought a 1990 ranger 2.9, the only problem is that the guy bought headers for the truck and when he went to put them on be broke every bolt.....what do i do to get the studs out? some are sticking out and 2 or 3 are flush with the motor. thank you in advance...

On the ones that are sticking out, use one of these, or vicegrips

On the ones that are flush, drill them and use one of these

Or, just drill them out and retap.

Heat and PB blaster are your friends, good luck!

Take the splash guards out, or, take the head off/pull the motor.

i will try the splah gaurds cause im def not looking to pull the motor. anyway the headers are pacesetters, are they any good?

heads are good. id say pull them, its not hard at all. Its going to be a pain to drill those bolts, i know, i had to do it. I ended up having to take them to a machine shop and have them drilled with a drill press.
