Having troubles confirming MP3 compatibility - 03' fx4II -

Hey All,

Just bought an 03' ranger, fx4 level II. Though I joined the forum this time last year, this is my first post!

It has this head unit:

Just trying to get confirmation about what kind of CD I can burn before I actually buy a pack of CD's.

Normal Music CD (one album)
MP3 CD (~150 Songs)
Data CD (~150 Songs)

Anyone confirm?

Also, is it possible to add a disc changer to this system somehow, or does that require a different head unit?

All CD-R's are the same. Buy whichever one is cheapest.

A stock head unit will likely not play an mp3 or data cd

A stock head unit will likely not play an mp3 or data cd, at least from my experience they don't although installing a jack for phone or I pod use can be done
