Ok, so I finally got the gasket kit for the timing cover on my B4000. I replaced the front seal this afternoon and went to install the cover. There is only one small problem... I took it apart so long ago that I can not remember which holes the extended stud topped bolts go in. There are 5 of them and I only want to put it together once. Don't you just hate it when you have a senior moment? Anyone got a diagram from the Ford manual or perhaps a photo of the front of the engine? Or maybe someone can just tell me starting clockwise on the front of the engine which of the 11 holes get the extended bolts.

As the Beatles (Stones) sang.... What a drag it is getting old.

I can only guess what you probably know already....where-ever a special bracket/component needs to fit in front of the cover is where the stud-tipped bolts will go....

probably....

Hope this helps

BOLT A M8x47 (1) 17-21 (13-15)
BOLT B M8x25 (5) 17-21 (13-15)
STUD C M8x25 (5) 17-21 (13-15)

At work I always put a dot beside where a stud goes with a paint pen when I'm tearing stuff down.
