As some may know and many not, I’m currently located in the populous part of Michigan against my best wishes to be in the non-populous U.P. But soon I will be back!!!!

So I just went wheelin for the first time in 6 months. But not the all day or all weekend trips that im us to, just for a few hours. Found a decent place to play on some state land. Still sad from what I am use to, but fun seeing as I haven’t done any wheelin in months.

Oh and it was the first time out on the 37’s, and since I put the 10,000 lb winch in the rear and new charging system. ( dual optima’s and 140 amp alt.) Haven’t really put the charging system to the test yet as well as the rear winch.

You're another guy we need to see more of. I like your style.

Why did you get rid of the AG tires?? i thought those were awesome

now thats what we call a beast of a trail rig.. iam with tim.. something about a little truck with BIG tires!

i just lurk now.. but todd's rig in its old life and current life.. has always been one of my favs..

i find it hard to believe you are content with BFG M/T's though!

Yes, that is a pretty cool truck. wish i had the time and money to do something like that, maybe once i get my diesel paid off in the next 2 yrs i'll have some extra money to throw at my splash.
Sweet truck though! :thumby:

i need those 37's:thefinger:

Thanks for the comments guys.

I haven’t gotten rid of the 35 AG’s, I just have two sets of tires to pic from now. I was starting to get to the point where 35’s just didn’t give me enough ground clearance under the diffs, frame and the approach and departure angles that I wanted and started to need. I got a hell of a deal on these 37’s and rims so I took it. Granted they don’t have the most amount of tread, but I grooved the piss outa them to make a good set of winter wheelin tires. That’s my intention for these tires, once I get back to the U.P. of Michigan they will be my deep snow, air way down, try not to dig tires. And with these 37’s at low psi I will have more ground clearance than with the 35’s aired down.

Some time this summer I plan on getting a newer set of 37’s for mud and shit, something more aggressive.

But thanks again guys for the words.

Things have been rough for me this past year or so, and there is light at the end of the tunnel. And for damn sure when that happens there will be more wheelin.

When you test out the new charging system, let me know how it works out for you (I will have pretty much the same set-up). Any pros and/or cons you notice, things you might change, etc.

love the rig todd :headbang: i understand having situations that keep you off the trails. i've been in that rut for years.
