A properly suspensioned Ranger can be safely airborne for up to 4 seconds at a time! =:O
I have, at least for the serpentine drive belt, and few other "consumable" items. Gonna price a few other things this week, hoses, alternator, CMP, just for grins, and future reference.

Auto parts: a major RACKET that will NEVER be investigated by Congress, nor prosecuted under RICO laws. :annoyed:

yeah, all the time..but sometimes ford is cheaper. I had to replace the 4 manifold to exhaust bolts, they were $2 cheaper each at mazda.

All dealerships pay the same price for the parts; how much they mark them up is up to them since they are really independent business themselves. Ford does not and can not say how much they are allowed to mark up the prices.

Hell I've found even between two different Ford dealers prices change.

that too, I often will call several to see what I can come up with. From a consumer standpoint its a real PITA
