Have you been impressed with your RBV today?

Impressed that I can't find parts at a junk for it. A lot of other vehicles, but hardly no Rangers. Thats good engineering. And the fact that it has never let me down.

mine starts on the 1st crank even after sitting for more than a week. that impresses me for an 88.

My 87 impresses alot of Jeep owners on the trail. We're going to Rocky Mountain House next weekend so it'll be time to impress them more !:yahoo:

Mine does that too,Ford struck gold with the ranger platform.:icon_thumby:

but my 83 has a problem, i think its the starter solinoid tho. if i run it and its warm, it wont start back up for about 1 hr or 30 seconds of continuous cranking

:icon_confused:DAFUUUHHHH? how the hell does that work if it cranks and you think it is the starter solenoid? try checking battery cables, they might be corroded. my 88 did the same thing, bad cables

I'm impressed that my new-to-me 2004 Edge Extended Cab, 3.0, 71,000 miles, is getting 20.5 MPG in mixed highway/city driving! :yahoo:

Especially after I read about the less than stellar gas mileage many on here seem to be getting. Then again, I keep my foot off the floor. :D

only reason i say that is a ford ltd wagon i worked on did the same thing and i was told its the starter solinoid or something along those lines. but it ended up gettin crushed. the bumpers and trim looked good with my copperish goldish paint job

My 02 is like wine, it just keeps getting better with age.
Aside from my 88 BII (rip) this has been the best Ford I have owned.

i'm impressed with mine that after 8 months of sitting, only a hub had been the cause of my 4wd woes..switched it out with a spare tested it yesterday, worked like new..

i'm pissed that today i broke the passenger side inner axle shaft right at the c-clip...ugh

guess i can kill 3 birds with one stone when i take it all apart...that being new coils, a new drivers side drop bracket, and the shaft! hell might even do u-joints heh

AWESOME!!! Ive been impressed with my ranger on and off the trail, even though its a 2-by. Although my 89 was a pos it just broke and let me down. Its weird every ranger has a broken grill and dented or rusty bumpers. Just rediculous.

I love mine. starts every time and works great. I got it at 127k and now have 150k damn those miles were prolly the hardest it has ever had. It's been in lots of mud, water over the hood and stuck in a swamp and up many steep hills. Friends are shocked i have not killed it yet as i am to.

wow i have also broken lots of parts to. It's been lots of fun tho so it's worth all the work.

Well im going back outside to fix up some rust/paint now(damn trees). haha

i was impressed with my rbv today...

i was impressed by how good it looked once i painted the bumpers, etc...

I love both of mine all the time. If any of you remember I got my 94 ex last summer and it overheated from the day I got it. New heads and a complete cooling system later plus a lot of :beer: later and i finally took it on a road trip last weekend . 4 -1/2 hrs each way across the Az desert and at the end the engine was COLD. And I laid on it hard on the way back. Long story.:yahoo:
