I normally take my quad out by loading it in the truck bed. Now my brother in law wants to go, he has his own quad and a trailer. Should I, A) load mine in the bed, and hook up the trailer or B) get a bigger trailer so I can tow both quads? My quad is roughly 480-500 pounds, his is lighter, or I could do option C) and load his lighter quad in the bed and tow mine on the trailer... Ideas?

Well Im kinda running into the same issue but my plan is to get a 10x6 flat bed trailer for my raptor 660 and the wifes trail boss. that way I can haul all my camping gear in the bed of the truck then I can get to the site unload the bikes and set my tent up on the trailer.

if you don't want to get a new trailer get stiffer springs and you will be good with one in the bed and the trailer.

What is the problem? Put either quad in the bed and the other on the trailer. My riding mower weighs 900# (720# standard with 40# wheel weights and 56# of washer fluid in each rear tire) and it rode in the bed when I had a Ranger. You won't overload your truck with a quad in the bed and a little trailer behind it.

Put his in the bed and yours on the trailer and if your truck is a auto put it in drive only not overdrive It will hurt the tranzs I had a 88 ranger short bed and hauled a Blaster and a warrior in the bed a few times truck was a beater lol

Thanks folks, I found out my brother in law has a 5X10 trailer, so I'll just trailer them both and leave the ramps at home.

I'm with Will. I've had my 400ex in the bed with my friends Grizzly 700 on a trailer behind me and the truck was still ass end high. It can handle way more weight than that.

I would put the heavier one in the bed and the lighter one on the trailer.
